We will greet you in Delhi where you will be transferred to the hotel. Earlier Delhi was the capital of Indraprastha and of the Pandavas during the era of Mahabharata. The history of this magnificent city dates back to the 6th century BC. Delhi has been invaded by a number of foreigners and rebuilt a number of many times. Thus, Delhi’s culture has been influenced by different rulers. Beautiful monuments and forts were constructed in the city during different periods in history. The Mughal rulers also influenced the food habits of the residents and inspired Mughlai cuisine in Delhi. All festivals belonging to different cultures are celebrated with zeal and fervor here. Chandini chowk in Old Delhi is a maze of small lanes and old buildings and New Delhi has large road with huge buildings. Delhi is the capital of India and is the hub for politics.

The tour starts in the morning. After breakfast as you proceed to Old Delhi, you will visit the Raj Ghat where father of Indian nation Mahatma Gandhi was cremated and then visit the museum which was built to commemorate him. The private taxi takes you past the iconic Red Fort and Chandini Chowk, which is a very popular and a busy market in Old Delhi. Get down visiting historical Jama Masjid, which is one of the largest mosques in India. This mosque was built by Shah Jahan. You can take a rickshaw ride in Chandini Chowk, which is thrilling and unique experience. This entire area is overcrowded as it houses a large number of shops. You can taste delicious street food, buy clothes, jewels and other items at cost effective rates. Chandini Chowk is indeed a shopper's paradise where you can walk in the small by lanes and do some interesting shopping.

In the afternoon, visit Qutub Minar, which is largest Minaret in India. Qutub Minar, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was built by Turk ruler Qutub-Ud-Din Aibak in 1912. Proceed to visit Humayuns tomb, which is another UNESCO world heritage site. In the evening stop at India Gate. This was built in memory of the Unknown Soldiers. Surrounded by large gardens the ambience of this area is spectacular. You will be driven past the Parliament House, President's House and other Government Secretarial Buildings. Visit the famous Lakshmi Narayan Temple, a temple which is dedicated to Lakshmi and Lord Narayana. Overnight stay is in Delhi.

Proceed to the airport in order to embark for your Udaipur flight. It takes nearly 1 hour and 20 minutes to reach this 'City of Lakes'. On arrival in Udaipur, you will be transferred to the hotel. Udaipur is also known as the Venice of the East. This beautiful city was the historic capital of the kingdom of Mewar and was founded by Rana Udai Singh in 1559. A stay in the Lake Palace hotel which is situated in the middle of a lake is a memorable experience. Explore the bazaars and museums of this charming city in the taxi with-in the city limits. Overnight stay will be in Udaipur.

In the morning, proceed to see the magnificent City Palace, which is situated on the bank of picturesque Pichola Lake. This palace was constructed by Maharana Udai Mirza Singh in 1559 A.D. Visit Jagdish Temple which was constructed by Maharana Jagat Singh in Indo-Aryan architectural style. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is one of the biggest shrines of Udaipur. Explore the beautiful areas surrounding Fatehsagar Lake, in cab. Fatehsagar palace was built in 1678 by Maharana Fateh Singh. Next visit Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir located near Chetak Circle. It is one of most popular museums of Udaipur, which exhibit the glittering gathering of folk articles of rulers of Rajasthan. A visit to the famous tourist destination namely Sahelion ki Bari (Queen's resort for her friends) is a must. In the afternoon saunter in the various bazaars of Udaipur and enjoy a unique shopping experience. The transport is at your disposal with-in the city limits. Overnight stay is in Udaipur.

After breakfast you will be transferred by road from Jodhpur to Udaipur. Enroute, 98 km from Udaipur, stop at the tiny yet scenic hamlet namely, Ranakpur. Visit the beautiful Jain Temples, which were made in 15th century. Proceed to visit the famous Chamukha temple of Ranakpur which is made of marble and is dedicated to Adinathji, the first Tirthankara. It has more than twenty halls and 1444 pillars which are not similar to each other. The glittering lights of this place enhance the magical aura and are in fact a real treat to your eyes. In case the time permits, you could also visit the Surya Temple and the Jain Temple.

Embark for Jodhpur in the car. This is the second largest city of Rajasthan and is also known as the Sun City. Jodhpur was the former capital of Marwari kingdom. It has got its name from its founder Rao Jodha who established this city in 1459. Jodhpur is known for its traditional festivals and colourful fairs. Gangaur, Teej, Nag Panchmi, etc are celebrated here with lot of enthusiasm and zeal. Jodhpur has now become an important centre for traditional weddings. Film units opt to come to Jodhpur for shootings. In the afternoon, you will be taken to visit Meherangarh fort, which is one of the largest forts in India. It is situated on a low sandstone hill, at an altitude of nearly 120 meters. Constructed in splendid architectural patterns, the fort boasts of many magnificent palaces with expansive courtyards and beautiful intricate carvings. Moti Mahal, which is the Pearl Palace, built by Raja Sur Singh is one of the resplendent palaces situated in the fort. Move on to visit the charming Phool Mahal, which is the Palace of Flowers. This was built by Maharaja Abhaya Singh, for his personal pleasures and leisure.

Visit Jaswant Thada, which was built in 1889 by Sardar Singh in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. The impressive edifice is constructed out of thin and polished sheets of Marble which makes it so beautiful especially under the rays of morning sun. Saunter in the beautiful gardens of Umaid Public Gardens which houses the Government Museum and the Umaid Bhawan Museum. See the amazing collection of artifacts displaying the rich history and culture of Rajasthan. The Umaid palace and the museum was designed by Henry Vaughan Lanchester. Explore the bazaars of walled Blue city. The transport is at your disposal with-in the city limits. Overnight stay is in Jodhpur.

In the morning after breakfast, you will be transferred by road from Jodhpur to the pilgrimage city of Pushkar. The distance between the two cities is nearly 199 km and it takes almost 4 hours to cover this distance. Pushkar is one of the most sacred pilgrimages for Hindus and is considered to be one of the oldest cities in India. It is said that Lord Brahma created this scared city. When a demon Vajra Nabha killed Brahma's children, Brahma hit him with a lotus flower which killed the demon. A lotus petal fell in Pushkar and a lake was thus formed. Here Lord Brahma performed a sacrifice on a full moon day. A temple is dedicated to Brahma and is the only one of its kind in the world. It is believed that bathing in this lake will ensure salvation. Pushkar is famous for its festivals and fairs. A massive Camel fair is held annually when thousands of camels and cattle are traded. Proceed to Jaipur in the morning. The distance to be covered is nearly 145 km and it takes nearly two hours to cover this distance by road. Jaipur, also known as 'the pink city' is the capital of Rajasthan. Many magnificent palaces in Jaipur exhibit breathtaking design and architecture. In the 18th century Prince of Wales had visited Jaipur and the entire city was painted in pink colour and due to these pink buildings the city is known as the pink city. Dating 260 year back this ancient city was built by Maharaja Jai Singh and Jaipur got its name from this ruler. You can spend time by exploring the colourful Jaipur bazaars shopping in crowded streets. The transport is at your disposal with-in the city limits. Overnight stay is in Jaipur.

Leave in a prearranged private taxi to visit the spectacular Amer fort in the morning. Also known as Amber Palace this magnificent fort was constructed in red sandstone and marble by Raja Man Singh. The fort is divided into four sections each with a courtyard. The main entrance gate is Surajpol, which exhibits fascinating architecture. Near the Ganesh Gate, a temple is constructed dedicated to the Goddess Sila Devi. The Diwan-e-Aam which was the Hall of public audience and Diwan-e-Khas which was the hall of private audience, Sheesh Mahal which is a resplendent palace of mirrors and Sukh Niwas are very beautiful reflecting the royal lifestyle of the erstwhile kings and queens. At the Sukh Niwas, admire the brilliance of the designers as they created a pleasant climate by winds that blow over a gurgling water cascade. Take a thrilling elephant ride as you ascend the fort. Alternately you can walk down the steps or simply come back in jeeps.

Get back to the main city of Jaipur to see the magnificence of Maharaja City Palace. This Royal palace has seven storey as well as Jantar Mantar, the observatory exhibiting the brilliant architecture of ancient times. This astonishing observatory built hundreds of years ago attracts mathematicians as well as astronomers from around the globe. The City Palace is an amazing blend of all three excellent architectural styles namely Mughal, Rajput and European. Hawa Mahal is another palace in Jaipur, which is popular all over world for its outstanding architecture. Saunter through the beautiful Pink Rose Garden as well as visit business centers of Jaipur. Shopping is a wonderful experience in Jaipur. Explore this shopper’s paradise and walk on the bazaars of the Pink city to see a colorful medley of clothes, carpets, precious and semi-precious stones and jewelry and various handicrafts made of wood, metals. You will be amazed by the wonderful display of superb hand painted silk paintings and miniatures. The transport is at your disposal with-in the city limits. Overnight stay is in Jaipur.

Proceed in a private taxi from Jaipur to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri. The distance between Jaipur to Agra is nearly 238 km and it takes 4 hours 30 minutes to cover this distance depending on the traffic. Fatehpur Sikri was built in the 16th century by Emperor Akbar and is brilliant example of exceptional architectural skill of artisans in Mughal civilization. This is one of well-known UNESCO World heritage site of India and has various historical monuments. You will visit the Jama Masjid, followed by the Tomb of Salim Chishti, the five storied Panch Mahal and Buland Darwaza, an outstanding monument and fantastic piece of beautiful architectures. Admire the central portico with a total of three arched entrances locally known as Horseshoe gate. You will visit the other stupendous buildings of this place such as Ibadat Khana Birbal house, Mariam-uz- Zamani palace, Naubat Khana. Proceed for Agra. Afternoon is at leisure. Agra, the heritage city of India is situated on the banks of the river Yamuna. Agra is a major tourist destination of India. Agra also known as Akbarabad was the capital city of Mughals under the reign of Emperors Akbar, Jahangir and Shah Jahan. Early in the morning visit Taj Mahal, which is one of the seven wonders of the world. The orange glow of the rising sun adds to the beauty of this marvellous edifice. This beautiful building is elegantly built with white marble by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between the years 1631 to 1648 in the memory of his favorite beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal. Standing regally on banks of Yamuna River, this breathtaking, immensely beautiful monument is symbol of the romance and love. Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays. Proceed to visit Agra Fort, which is another important UNESCO World Heritage Site. Famous for its architectural structure it was built in the 16th century during the Mughal Empire. This place comprises of several beautiful fairy-tale palaces namely Khas Mahal and Jahangir Palace. See Diwan-e-Aam and Diwan-e-Khas, which are also known as private audience hall and public audience hall. Agra is famous for beautiful inlaid marble work and excellent handicrafts made of white marble, wood and metal. Afternoon is at leisure. The transport is at your disposal with-in the city limits. Overnight stay is in Agra.

This is the last day of your traditional Rajasthan tour where you will be transferred from Agra to Delhi airport in time for your return flight. As most of the flights depart after midnight, accommodation is not included in Delhi. Depart for your return/onward journey.
