It was founded by King Surajesa. In Gwalior, you will check- into your chosen hotel. After a brief rest period proceed for sight-seeing of the city. The city of Gwalior seems to be all about art and culture. You must start with Man Mandir which was built in 16th century. Also visit Gujari Mahal which is a well known archaeological museum. Other landmarks of Gwalior are Mausoleum of Tansen, Teli Ka Mandir, Tomb of Gaus Mohammad, Jai Vilas Palace, Gujari Mahal etc. Overnight stay is in the hotel.
In the morning you will leave for Orchha city which is lactated at a distance of just 123kms. Your prepaid taxi will be waiting for you and you will reach in just 3 hours. Orchha is a small town in Madhya Pradesh where time seems to be still. Start the sightseeing here with Jehangir Mahal which is a huge citadel built by Mughal kings. If you are fond of adventure indulge in some rafting at Betwa River. Visit the well-known Chaturbhuj Temple known for its superb architecture. Other significant places to visit In Orchha are Chattris, Raja Mahal and Orchha Fort Complex. In the evening you will return to hotel. Overnight stay is in hotel in Orchha.
In the morning you will leave for Khujraho which is located at a distance of 172 kms. It takes almost 4 hours to reach Khujaraho. Check-into your chosen hotel. Khujaraho is a wonderful city for its outstanding temples and erotic art. In fact, tourists especially come to Khujaraho to witness brilliant erotic art. The temples which are found here have been built by Chandela rulers. Some of the well knew places here Kandariya Mahadev Temple, Devi Jagdamba Temple, Nandi & Vishvanath Temple, Laskshmana Temple, Adinath Temple, Shiva Visha Temple, Shnatinath Temple, Lord Vishnu Temple etc. Visit Parasvanath Temple which is a very popular Jain Temple. In the evening you will return to the hotel. Overnight stay is in the hotel in Khajuraho.
This is the end of your 5-day Gwalior Orchha Khujaraho Tour which is a journey through culture and ancient tradition. In the morning you can attend Aarti by the Ganges again.
