The multi city India trip begins with arrival in Delhi. We will transfer you to the chosen hotel. You can begin your tour of Delhi with a visit to different tourist hot spots in Old Delhi. Visit the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri i.e Raj Ghat and Vijay Ghat. Then you can proceed to see Jama Masjid which is the country’s largest mosque with the capacity of housing almost 2500 people. Then drive past Red Fort, which is a historic monument built by Mughals in red sandstone. For 200 years, this was the prime residence of Mughal emperors. After then, if you wish to savor delectable street food and indulge in some amazing shopping you must proceed towards Chandini Chowk. The congested lanes of Chandini Chowk can only be covered on a rickshaw or by foot. In New Delhi visit UNESCO World Heritage site, Qutub Minar which was constructed by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199. Then visit Humayun's Tomb and Lodhi Gardens.

The evening should be spent at India Gate, which is beautifully lit at night. Your Delhi trip cannot be complete without visit to Lakshmi Narayan Temple, which is actually a brilliant piece of modern architecture. Drive past Parliament House, President's House, and Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place shopping area. Overnight stay is in Delhi. You can go out to eat or party in any of the well known restaurants or pubs of the city if you wish.

In the morning you can leave for Agra. Both the cities are well- connected via Taj Express Highway. It takes roughly 4 hrs to cover this distance of 234 kms. Once you reach Agra you can visit Taj Mahal, which is one of the most famous monuments in the entire world. It is built by Mughul Emperor Shahjahan in memory of her beloved wife Queen Mumtaz Mahal. The mortal remains of the queen are enclosed inside a mausoleum here. Later on, you can visit other places of interest in Agra such as Agra Fort, Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, Akbar’s Tomb. In the evening you can indulge in some shopping in famous shopping spots of Agra such as Kinari Bazar, Sadar Bazar etc. Overnight stay is in Agra.

After Agra, the next destination where you need to head to is Jaipur also known as “Pink City”. Enroute you can visit Fatehpur Sikri. This is a city which is built all together in red sandstone. It was made by Mughal Emperor Akbar way back in 1569 to commemorate his victory over Gujarat. It was later abandoned due to paucity of water. Now, it is a UNESCO World Heritage site and people come here especially to see Buland Darwaza, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Jama Masjid, Panch Mahal etc. Overnight stay is in hotel of your choice in Jaipur.

In the morning you must visit Amer Fort, which is a beautiful palace complex made of pink and pale yellow sandstone and marble. It demonstrates brilliant architecture. Check out superb mirror work of Sheesh Mahal, Jai Mandir, Sukh Niwas etc. In the afternoon you can have city tour of Jaipur. Jaipur city was painted in pink color in honor of British Prince who was visiting. You must also visit tourist hot spots like City Palace, Nahargarh Fort, Jantar Mantar Observatory and Hawa Mahal. In case you are fond of shopping the multi-hued bazaars of Jaipur will provide you a lovely shopping experience. You can buy exquisite jewelry, colored fabric, tie and dye material, marble artifacts, etc. Some of the popular bazaars in Jaipur are Johri Bazaar, Bapu Bazaar etc. Overnight stay is in Jaipur.

Leave for the airport and board a flight for Mumbai early in the morning. Reach Mumbai, where we will take you to the hotel of your choice. In Mumbai, afternoon hours you can spend at leisure. In the evening you can go for some shopping or eating out in restaurant of your choice. Overnight stay is in Mumbai.

In the morning you can go visit different places in Mumbai such as Kamla Nehru Park, Hanging Gardens, which is located on slopes of lovely Malabar Hill. The exquisite view of Marine Drive from here will simply amaze you. Later in the day you can go to Chowpatty Beach, Mani Bhawan, Prince of Wales Museum and Dhobi Ghat. The evening should be at Gateway of India. You can go for a meal to the Taj Mahal Hotel. If you want to do some shopping head to the Crawford Market where you will get everything under the sun. There are some very good malls in Mumbai such as Phoenix Marketcity Mall, High Street Phoenix, Infiniti Mall etc. You can buy all leading brands here. Overnight stay is in Mumbai.

Leave for the airport and board a flight for Bangalore. Reach Bangalore and from here you can drive to Mysore. It just takes 2 hrs to reach Mysore by road. Overnight stay is in Mysore.

In the morning you must visit palace of Maharaja, which was constructed in 1911-12. The palace presents a harmonious blend of Hindu and Saracenic styles of architecture. You will see lovely domes, archways, colonnades, turrets and sculptures. Visit the Art Gallery and Mysore Zoo. Then there are Brindavan Gardens with their beautiful colorful fountains. Drive down to the Chamundi hills to see beautiful Chamundeshwari Temple. On the way back, you can see the Nandi Bull. Overnight stay is in Mysore.

From Mysore again drive back to Bangalore. From Bangalore airport you can take a flight to Cochin. Reach Cochin and we will transfer you to hotel of your choice. Overnight stay is in Cochin.

In the morning leave for the city tour of Cochin. Cochin is basically a natural harbor, which is built by underwater Malabar mud-banks. There are quite a few places to see in Cochin such as Kochi Fort, Mattancherry Palace, St. Francis Church and Cherai Beach. People usually go to the beach for swimming, shell collecting and for dolphin watching. Watch the Chinese Fishing Nets, which are fixed land installations for purpose of fishing. Overnight stay is in Cochin.

Drive down to Periyar. It takes 5 hrs to reach Periyar by road. People go, especially to Periyar to see Periyar National Park and wildlife sanctuary. It is a hugely famous elephant and tiger reserve. Spread over an area of 777 square kms. High mountain ranges and Western Ghats form part of this national park. You will see wild life as you cruise on Periyar Lake in a motor boat. Periyar Lake is popular for lovely boat rides. The animals which are usually spotted here are elephants, tiger, wild boar, sambar, leopard, monkeys, wild dog etc. Overnight stay is in Periyar.

Drive down to Madurai, which takes about 2 hours 40 minutes. Overnight stay is in Madurai.

In the morning you must visit the great Hindu temple located on the southern banks of Vaigai River, Meenakshi Temple. This temple is dedicated to consort of Lord Shiva. The temple boasts of towering gopurams. Madurai is popularly known as Temple City so you will actually see temples all around. Visit the famous Tirumala Nayak Palace. This is a beautiful building in Indo Saracenic style. The domes and arches of this palace are awe-inspiring. Also visit Alagar Hills, Gandhi Memorial Museum and Tirupara Kundran Rock temple. The afternoon is free. Overnight stay is in Madurai.

Drive down to Tanjore, which takes 3 hrs 30 minutes. Once you reach Tanjore visit the stunning Chola Temple of Brihadeeshwara. It is built of single granite block, which weighs approximately 80 tons. The beautiful bronzes and handicrafts which you see here make Tanjore one of the must visit places in South India. Overnight stay is in Tanjore.

In the morning drive down to Pondicherry which takes 4 hrs 30 minutes. In Pondicherry you must visit the famous Aurobindo Ashram. In the evening stroll by the Promenade Beach. Overnight stay is in Pondicherry.

Pondicherry has traces of French colony as it was a French colonial settlement till 1954. The seaside promenade, which runs along Bay of Bengal presents a wonderful sight. In the afternoon you can leave for Mahabalipuram which takes roughly 2 hrs. Overnight stay is in Mahabalipuram.

In the morning visit the famous seven pagodas of Mahabalipuram. On the seashore you will see a beautiful group of very old rock hewn temples. These temples depict Dravidian style of Architecture. Overnight stay is in Mahabalipuram.

In the morning leave for Chennai and enroute you can visit Kanchipuram. Kanchipuram was the capital of Pallavas. It is popularly referred to as a city of 1000 Temples. Even now it has 124 shrines. There is a temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It was made in 7th and 8th century. You will see lovely paintings on walls of the temple. Temples of Sri Kamakshi, Kailasanatha, Ekambaswara and Varadarajaswamy are present here. Kanchipuram is also quite popular for its beautiful silks. Later you can leave for Chennai. Overnight stay is in Chennai.

In the morning you must visit the museum to see wonderful Art and Bronze Gallery. It is closed on Fridays and on Public holidays. Other places to see in Chennai are Flower and Fruit market, Fort museum, Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Marina Beach, St. Thomas Cathedral, and Arignar Anna Zoological Park. Afternoon is free and you can rest for sometime and gather energy to witness other important things during the trip. Overnight stay is in Chennai.

In the morning, leave for the airport and board a flight to Calcutta. Reach the hotel and spend rest of the day relaxing. Overnight stay is in Calcutta.

In the morning visit different places of interest in Calcutta such as the Jain Temple, Zoological Gardens, Victoria Memorial etc. Drive past the famous Howrah Bridge. You must also see Dalhousie Square, Secretariat Building, Fort Williams, and Old Court House Street. In the evening you must leave for the railway station and board train for Varanasi.

In the morning when you reach Varanasi you will be transferred to hotel of your choice. You must visit the ancient Hindu Kashi Vishwanath Temple. In the evening you can visit the Ghats to see the evening Aarti Ceremony at Ganges. Overnight stay is in Varanasi.

In the morning again you must visit holy river Ganges. People come here to take a dip in morning and offer prayers to the rising sun. The two cremation ghats in Varanasi are Manikarnika and Harishchandra. The funeral pyre burn here day and night. Every Hindu believes that in order to attain salvation he should be cremated on banks of Ganges. Transfer to the airport and board a flight for Delhi. In Delhi you will have no hotel stay as you will board a flight to your home destination.
