# Day 01 Arrive Chennai transfer to hotel. City tour

On arrival in Cochin airport, our airport Rep will meet and greet, later transfer to hotel. # Day 02 Chennai - Mahabalipuram Via Kanchipuram . Visit Mahabalipuram

After early breakfast, check out and proceed to Kanchipuram, visit to Kanchipuram sightseeing, visit Kamakshi Amman Temple, Ekambareswar Temple - (Panch Bhootha Sthalam), Kailasanathar Temple and Sri Varadaraja Perumal Temple – 108 Dedivyadesamas. # Day 04 Pondicherry- Kumbakonam- Tanjore

Today drive to Tanjore, Enroute visit Gangaikonda Cholapuram the temple derives its name from the ancient town it was a part of called Gangaikonda Cholapuram, which was the capital of the Chola dynasty for over 250 years. It is a part of the trip of the ‘Great Living Chola Temples’ along with the Airavastesvara Temple and Brihadeeswara Temple; also listed among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Next visit Darasuram ( 40 kms / 1 hrs. ) the grand Airavastesvara Temple, the temple located in Kumbakonam is a treasure-trove of history, facts and amazing art. The construction of the temple dates back to the 12th century CE and was built by the renowned Chola king Rajaraja Chola II. Architecture, sculptures, paintings, bronze casting – the temple reflects the rich cultural heritage of the Chola dynasty. The temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is named after ‘Airavat’, the majestic white elephant of Lord Indra. On arrival Tanjore check-in hotel.

Afternoon visit the Brihadiswana temple. Built at the end of the 10th century, it is one of the most remarkable in the region. # Day 05 Tanjore - Chettinad. City tour

After breakfast check-out and drive to Chettinadu, a region renowned for its rich architectural and cultural heritage. On arrival check-in hotel and after fresh up proceed sightseeing of Kanadukathan Palace, a true architectural treasure that reflects the opulence of the Chettiar dynasty. You will have the opportunity to discover its sumptuous facades, its interior courtyards and its finely worked decorative details. After this visit, a pleasant walk through the village awaits you. As you stroll through the peaceful alleys of Chettinadu, you will observe small abandoned palaces, vestiges of a glorious past, which bear witness to the former grandeur of this region. # Day 06 Chettinad- Madurai . City tour

Today you will take a drive to Madurai. On arrival check-in hotel, afternoon You will visit the Meenakshi Amman temple complex. The 14 towers (the highest of which is 52 metres) of the temple complex are completely covered with colourful statues of gods and goddesses, animals and mythical figures. Very special to see! There is a lot to experience in and around the temple. Numerous traders sell their products of local arts and crafts even inside the sanctuary. Another beautiful sight is the 17th century Thirumalai Nayak Palace. A unique building with many columns, arches and domes. You can also visit the Ghandi Memorial Museum where many personal souvenirs of Mahatma Ghandi are displayed. The museum was built with donations from both the poor and rich citizens of the city and is one of the world's peace museums. Visit Madurai famous flower market and fruit market.

In the evening, you will go there again and attend the “god’s sunset ceremony”: Shiva leaves his temple to reach the sanctuary of the goddess Minakshi. The idol, richly adorned, carried by priests in a palanquin is followed by a fervent crowd... Amazing street spectacle that will delight you. Back to hotel and overnight stay in Madurai.

# Day 07 Madurai- Periyar. Spice plantation & Boat ride Periyar

This morning, you will be transferred from Madurai to Periyar National Park. You will have free time to observe wildlife at the Periyar Animal Sanctuary. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, also known as Thekkady, The name Thekkady is derived from the word "thekku," meaning teakwood, and "adi," meaning ground is located in the Western Ghats hills and is home to a large number of mammals and birds. On arrival check-in hotel and relax your day.

Afternoon visit the sanctuary is famous for its elephants, and other animals present here include wild boar, sambar, tigers, leopards, dogs, langurs, monkeys, etc. The Periyar Forest has numerous banyan, orchid, teak, rosewood, and tamarind trees. The park is surrounded by several coffee, tea, and spice plantations. A boat cruise on Periyar Lake is very scenic and offers the opportunity to see various animals near the water. # Day 08 Periyar - Alleppey

( No guide at Alleppey) and start an enchanting cruise along the reputed backwater of Kerala; just relax and lay back while you navigate slowly through the tranquil waterways. It is a wonderful opportunity to discover Kerala’s rural lifestyle. You'll see that Kerala is known for its cashew nuts, coir trade, rice, pepper crops & coconuts.

# Day 09 Alleppey to Cochin

After breakfast, disembark in Houseboat. Today drive to Cochin on arrival check-in hotel and afternoon start your exploration of Fort Cochin and Mattancherry. Follow the footprint left centuries ago by Dutch, Portuguese, British, Arab and Chinese and soak up the cultural atmosphere as you stroll along the quaint narrow lanes of Fort Cochin to visit the Dutch Palace (close on Fridays and national holidays), St Francis Church and India's oldest Jewish Synagogue in Jew Town (close on Fridays, Saturdays, and Jewish holidays). Later head to the harbor where local fishermen use the old Chinese fishing nets introduced and erected centuries ago. Wander through the historic Jewish Synagogue and the vibrant spice markets, alive with colors and fragrances. Final visit the Marine drive to enjoy with scenic views, boat cruises, shopping, and iconic bridges. Late evening visit the Kathakali dance show, the witness of Kerala Traditional cultural show. # Day 10 Cochin to Coimbatore. City tour. Visit important temples

After breakfast check-out and proceed to Coimbatore. On arrival check-in hotel. # Day 11 Coimbatore to Mysore. City tour of Mysore

After breakfast check-out proceed to Mysore, on arrival check-in hotel. Afternoon visit to The Palace of Mysore (also known as the Amba Vilas Palace). Built in 1911-12, the architectural style of the palace is commonly described as Indo-Saracenic, and blends together Hindu, Muslim, Rajput, and Gothic styles of architecture. Continue your tour by driving up to Chamundi hill which are among eight most sacred hills of south India. The Chamundeshwari Temple is located on the top of Chamundi Hills was named after Chamundeshwari or Durga. On the way back there is a huge granite Nandi Bull on the 800th step on the hill in front of a small Shiva temple a short distance away. Overnight stay in Mysore.

# Day 12 Mysore - Hassan - Belure - Mysore

Today Excursion to Hassan.

Halebid or Halibeedu meaning the Old City was also known as Dwarasamudra and was the capital of the Hoysala Empire in the 12th century. In front of the Hoysaleshawara and Kedareshwara temples there is a big lake - Dwara Samudhra which means entrance of the ocean and the city derives its name from this lake. The walls of the temple are covered with depictions of Hindu mythology, animals, birds and dancing damsels. The sculptures of the temple are different from each other and there is a museum in the complex. Even after 86 years of work, the Nandi Bull was incomplete.

Belur was the capital of Hoysala Empire and has one of the finest examples of Hoysala architecture - the Chennakesava Vishnu Temple which was built by king Vishnuvardhana in celebration of his victory over the Cholas in the 12th century. It took 103 years to complete the temple and sculptures include elephants, lions, horses, stories from the Indian legends and dancers. Overnight stay in Mysore

# Day 13 Mysore -Bangalore by road & city tour

After breakfast, check-out and transfer to Bangalore. afternoon visits the Bangalore Palace. An epitome of great architecture and beauty, The Majestic Bangalore Palace preserves in it the spice of old regal opulence. Currently the central attraction in Bangalore, the palace was built in the year 1878. Chamarajendra Wadiyar's British Guardians bought the original property in 1873 from the principal of Bangalore Central High School, Rev, J Garret, from his funds. The palace is extraordinarily vast and spread across 45,000 square feet. A mixture of Tudor and Scottish Gothic architecture has resulted into the grand palace that we see today. Then visit Cubbon Park, the most alluring attraction in the heart of the city. Set up in 1864, it spreads over 300 acres of flowerbeds, thickets of trees, luxuriant lawns, massive bamboos, with grassy expanse. A large diamond shaped aquarium is its key attraction, laid out at the entrance of the park. Overnight stay in Bangalore.

# Day 14 Depart Bangalore

Check-out hotel at 1200 hrs. ( noon)

In time drive to Bangalore and visit local market for shopping, later in the evening transfer to airport to board the flight for onwards journey
