Arrive at Kochi and drive to Kumarakom. Transfer to hotel Coconut Lagoon. Sunset cruise on a Rice Boat. Overnight stay at Kumarakom. Evening cooking demo at the hotel.

Morning short cruise to "Philip Kutty's Farm" (A small home stead on an island). See the cultivation of various tropical fruits and vegetables and also a short demo of simple home cooking followed by lunch. Return to Hotel Coconut Lagoon. Overnight in Kumarakom. Evening cooking demo at the hotel.

Your morning will be free. Afternoon demonstration of preparation of a "Sadhya" (vegetarian wedding feast). Lunch would be sadhya - food served on banana leaf (to be eaten by hand). Stay at Coconut Lagoon. Evening cooking demo at the hotel.

Drive to Periyar via Manimala, near Kanjirappally Plantation visit followed by typical home lunch. Short demo of home cooked food. One can also avail the plucking, rubber tapping, toddy tapping, swimming in river Pampa. Arrive Periyar and transfer to Hotel Spice Village. Evening cooking demo at the hotel.

Morning visit Spice Plantation tour including Ayurvedic plants and Tea Plantation. Evening boat ride on Lake Periyar. Overnight in Periyar.

Morning free. Evening cooking demo at the hotel.

Drive to Kochi and transfer to Hotel Brunton Boat Yard. Enjoy an evening boat ride.

Morning city tour of Kochi including the ancient Spice Market at Mattancherry and Chinese Fishing Nets. "History" lunch at Brunton Boatyard. Evening Kathakali performance. Overnight stay at Kochi.

Morning free. Evening cooking demo in a private Kerela house followed by dinner.

Transfer to airport to board flight for onward journey. End of Tour.
