2nd day of the tour will gently ease you in the sightseeing. On this beautiful southern morning you will leave for an informative city tour. A jaunt to the museum to see the art and bronze gallery will give you a glimpse into Indian history and you can soak in all the artistic talent displayed at the museum. You will be then driven through the lovely flower and fruit market, high court, fort museum, marina beach, Santhome Cathedral and snake park. Afternoon is free and overnight stay is at the hotel.

This morning you will leave Chennai behind and drive to the religious town Tirupati, which is a popular city visited by millions of devotees every year. The world famous Tirumala Venkateshwara Temple is located at Tirumala hill, about 18 kms away from Tirupati city. Throngs of Hindu disciples await patiently outside the temple waiting their turn to seek the blessing from Lord Venkateswara. After arriving in Tirupati, you will check into your hotel and spend the remaining day recuperating. Overnight stay is at Tirupati.

Wake up early to visit the main temple of Tirupati. The tranquil pious atmosphere of the temple will give a serene start to your day. In the afternoon drive down to Anantapur, the southernmost district of the Rayalaseema region located to the west of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The city has undebatable cultural and political roots since centuries. Upon arriving at Anantapur, you will be checked into the ashram. Rest of the day is free and at your leisure. Relax and unwind at the ashram as you have a great day ahead.

On the 5th day of your Best Of South India tour, you can spend the entire day doing whatever you want. Visit the city and see what all Anantapur has to offer to it’s tourists. For those wanting to do nothing can use the vacant hours to read or explore the life of the ashram. The Anantapur Museum is worth visiting if you have few hours to kill. There is an ISKCON Temple in Anantapur you can visit. The beautiful architecture and calming ambience is a wonderful way to spend your free day. Overnight is at the ashram.

This morning you will shift your base from Anantapur to Kurnool. Kurnool is a charming town with deep roots into history. It has in its domain remains of the palace of Gopal Raju (the last Hindu king), ruins of a medieval fort built by Vijaynagar Empire having ancient Persian influence. After the drive, you will be checked in at the ashram where you will spend the remaining few hours resting. You will be served a nice dinner before you turn in for the night. Overnight stay is at the ashram. Rest up as you have a long day ahead of you.

Today we will give you to do nothing but relax. Use this vacant day to do whatever you want, cram in a little sightseeing, pick up a few souvenirs or visit the beach. The city of Kurnool is often referred to as The Gateway of Rayalaseema. The Konda Reddy Fort, Tungabhadra Beach Point are two most famous tourist sites in Kurnool. Stroll around and admire the quaint beauty of this small southern town. Your overnight stay is at the ashram. Relax in the peaceful ashram life.

The lush green valley of Srisailam is next on your itinerary. You will drive from Kurnool to Srisailam, drinking in the stunning natural views South India is so famous for. The rolling green hills enveloped in gauzy fog fills you with a sense of peace. You drive to Srisailam will be a transformative relaxing experience. Owing to the dams this region witnesses a deep vegetation of flora and fauna, according breath-taking views to the tourists. Upon reaching the ashram, you can unwind after the long drive and spend the remaining day recuperating. Overnight is at the ashram.

On this 10th morning, you will tackle the 212 kms distance to Hyderabad city. Hyderabad is one of the oldest cities in India and is deeply imprinted with history of Mughals. This city of Nawabs still has some magnificent architectural landmarks that every tourist must see. On your way into the city, you will manage to steal some amazing historical views of the city. After arriving in Hyderabad, you will be transferred into the hotel. Check in and spend the rest of the day relaxing. Your overnight stay is in Hyderabad.

Steal this final day on your itinerary to see something of Hyderabad city. Admire the architectural excellence of Charminar – the rectangular four arched monumental gate often described as ‘ the arch of triumph of the east ‘. After standing under Charminar, you will move to The Mecca Mosque and later visit the Salar Jung Museum to see one man collection of manuscripts, ancient weapons, costumes and curios. Visit the High Court buildings before being transferred to the airport for your return flight back home.
